This is my beautiful granddaughter Ambirley. I made this page to place in my black magnetic frame from Creative Memories where I am now a consultant. You can purchase any of their products by going to my website at www.mycmsite.com/sites/scrapdigi. This can be changed by just removing the magnets and putting in a new page. AWESOME!!!

Start 2 Finish Page 1
This is a beautiful technique. Currently one of my favorites, but that changes a lot as I learn new and fun things to try.
The overlay is from Digital Overlay Delight Diva Package. the white area on the photo was done by creating a box filling it with any paper then color filling it to white. Then you use the blended edge tool from the cut and fill menu move it into place and then cut and paste to the top and bottom.
I cut my graddaughters image from the photo flattened it to the background paper softened the edges with the soften filter and darkened the background.

My grandaughter Grace at about 2 years of age.
I used Reminisce paper #10 and changed it to Sepia, added it a second time and used cut and fill to cut out the frame width and used the 3D filter to give it dimension at 128 12 54. On the photo I used the soften edge filter set to 24. I hope you enjoy.
Pages from my 2011 calendar
One of the many items you can create in Creative Memories Storybook software are calendars. Above are a few of the pages I created in one of my calendars for 2011. If you have any questions about the techniques I have used to create these pages or are interested in the software I can help you with that, just send me a message on my facebook group at scrapdigi or email me at bamilne@comcast.net. I can also set up live training meetings at gotomeeting.com to help you learn how to use the software.

Shooting Star Saloon
Just in case you thought I was hooked on yellow I thought I would let you know that I can do other colors. I had fun with this set of pages. Background paper is from Rugged Outdoor digital additions, wooden from and other embellishments are from my stash. Some I googled and used the Cutting wand to take away any unwanted areas. The hinges I put on each page and moved them to the edge so it looked like the pages are hinged together.
Natures Sanctuary
Simplistic Beauty is the name I have given these pages. Sometimes I find that nothing needs to be done to detract from the photo. All I did was add an overlay from Rugged outdoor digital overlays and decrease the opacity to 50%. I added the title to the first page and called it good.

Huntsville Barns
The texture of the old barns and character it gives these photos I love.
I hope you enjoy also.
Using templates!
The use of templates made making these pages a snap. Thanks to Tameka at P2P and Cathie for the templates. I used the plaid building technique to make my papers, templates make it very easy for beginning digital scrappers. Go to meetings available for help just ask.

This technique I call Shadow Boxing
This is a very fun and exciting technique. Easy as a few clicks. Not hard at all to create in the awesome program Storybook Creator from Creative Memories.
A Day with my Special Grandaughter Grace
This was a special day with my granddaughter. Just the two of us. We went to a quaint little place called Gardner Village. In October they have a month long celebration for Halloween called Witchapolooza. The shops are filled with Halloween, the grounds are decorated everywhere. Live witches great you on the wooden sidewalks. What wonderful memories.

Tribute to my father’s service in WWII page 2 of a 2 page spread in my Family Storybook
This is page 2 of the tribute to my father’s service in WWII. He received a letter of recognition for his service from the President of the United States. We as children did not know this existed until we were going through items after the death of our mother.
The element of the service men above the photos I made myself in Storybook. I found the photo I wanted, brought it into Storybook filled it with a gray color, decreased the opacity to my liking and saved it to My Stuff folder in placed it on the page to my satisfaction.
Tribute to my father who served in WWII
This page is from a book I created in the Storybook software from Creative Memories. If you are interested I can get you the software. It is the easiest to use scrapbooking software I have seen. The dogtag embellishment I made myself by taking a photo of my fathers dogtags, copying and pasting for the dual image. Adjusting the color, adding shadows for dimension. I created the beaded chain myself in Storybook. Then group all elements together and save as an embellishment in my stuff folder of choice. If you have any questions you can join my facebook group and send me a message at scrapdigi on fb.

Sunset on the Water
I had saved this page from another Creative Memories Storybook user and thought it was so beautiful. So I decided to create my version. This one was very fun to create and only took about 1 1/2 hours.
Barbwire and Lace Bed and Breakfast
I made this page as a an advertising flyer for Barb Wire & Lace Bed & Breakfast in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I love learning new things and using my creative inspiration to create beautiful pages. The things you can create in Storybook from Creative Memories are endless.
